I was 9 years old in 1969 so my first memories of baseball were the 4 division set up. I wish that baseball never expanded teams or playoff rounds after that...I know I sound like the grumpy old guy, but having 3 100 win teams LOSE is not good for the sport.

Four-division baseball was where I cut my teeth, too. It definitely holds a nostalig pull. That 1993 N.L. West race was an amazing sendoff.
