Carrying all that ink on your back is a tough row to hoe!
Great article!! Try reading Nolan Ryan's stats on the 1993 Topps Micro set. Impossible.
That would have been a tall order even when it came out. With another 31 years on my eyes, you're right -- impossible!
Great post!
Another one of these that would qualify is the Jim Kaat 1983 Topps card #672.
I remember when I first saw the reverse of that card, I needed a magnifier to see the stats he compiled since 1959. Incredible!
Thanks!
Great choice! That Kaat was probably the first one of these "magnifier cards" that I ever really noticed. Amazing for sure!
Wonderful piece. Thanks!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it! Really appreciate your taking the time to read it and comment!
Take a close look at the Ron Fairly card. I think it's really Rick Reuschel filling in for Ron on Topps Photo Day.
That would have taken quite a conspiracy, considering Reuchel's five-inch height advantage, different teams in different leagues, and that they swung from different sides of the plate. There's definitely a facial resemblance, though.
